EDUCATION Born
and raised in Portland, Oregon, he attended Grant High School and Portland
State University He
earned his Master of Arts in Theology from the State of Colorado. BACKGROUND Chuck
served with his wife, Carol Ann, in Young Life, an International
Christian youth organization, for 23 years. The
last nine of those years he served as President of Young Life Canada. For
the last 12 years, Chuck’s focus has been on accelerating the
emergence of a leadership culture that understands the human side of
business and organizations. The benchmark of a great organization begins
with acknowledging that people and relationships are our most valuable
asset. Married
for 38 years, Chuck and Carol have two daughters and five grandchildren. They make their home in Lake Oswego, Oregon. His
volunteer commitments include: Honorary
Chairman of the Board of Management, Central
Branch YMCA – Portland, Oregon, and Vice Chair of the Mt. Hood Kiwanis
Camp Foundation. He
is also an honorary member of Rotary International. Chuck
has a passion for leadership and he will speak to us about ways in which
leaders shed light or impose darkness! |
